Premise: Season three features eight teams that desperately want to be in the food truck business battling it out to win the grand prize of a food truck and $50,000 to use to start a business. But in order to win the prize, the teams have to do well in city-specific challenges as they travel across the United States -- from a Long Beach, Calif., lighthouse to Maine's West Quoddy Lighthouse, the easternmost point in the country. The competing teams' food concepts include Australian barbecue, homey versions of signature pastas, specialty waffles and miniature pies. Host Tyler Florence returns to guide the teams on their cross-country journey.
