Show Summary

Model India Hicks joins this reality competition for season two, which also sees a new production company (Magical Elves, the folks behind ``Project Runway'' and ``Top Chef'') as well as a sleek new look in high-definition. Previous host Todd Oldham is still around to mentor the 13 designers, who are competing for a $100,000 cash prize and a four-page spread in Elle Decor Magazine, with the winner selected by returning panel of judges Jonathan Adler, Margaret Russell and Kelly Wearstler.

  • Finalewatch: 'Top Design'

The second season of Top Design is coming to a close, and I think we can officially declare its makeover a success. Tonight's episode had the perfect hint of drama, but kept the focus where it should be: on the designs.

  • 'Top Design': Bedpan chic

Folks, I think it's time to put out an APB on Kelly Wearstler. Her absence is making Top Design 47% less enjoyable. Although...this episode's conclusion made the show 1000% more enjoyable, so I'm still excited for the finale, even if it's Wearstler-less.

  • 'Top Design': Let there be light!

Tonight on Top Design, we had two fairly run-of-the-mill challenges, one enormous tool, and a shocking twist ending that will leave you at the edge of your seat! Well, that may be overselling it a little.

  • 'Top Design': Welcome...to the wooorld of tomorrow!

Previously on Top Design: I go away for ONE WEEK (thanks for covering, Sarah!) and Wisit is eliminated, warbling away his sorrows in the greatest exit interview of all time. Noooooooo!!!!1!11!! Totally weak. You're on notice, judges.

  • 'Top Design': Dignity, always dignity

Top Design asks the designers to go green -- and then go ahead with someone else's design choices. That seems like a bit much to ask. Plus, Eddie continues to be villainous, Wisit preaches the virtues of timelessness, and Andrea embraces color (sort of). Reduce, reuse, respoiler.

  • 'Top Design': Irondesigner

Tonight on Top Design, the designers finally strutted their stuff as individuals! And, shocker of all shockers, the result was an episode focused on design rather than drama. Definitely a welcome treat for those of us who stuck around long enough to see it happen.
