Premise: For its fifth season, ``Top Shot'' brings back 16 shooters who already competed in the show -- who all fell short of the grand prize their first time -- to participate in an all-star competition that, unlike previous years, is all about skill. There are no teams, no politics, no alliances and no nomination range. All the contestants face are history-inspired challenges during which they must use a variety of weapons that include rifles and grenade launchers. The challenge winners receive prizes such as sporting equipment, but the biggest prize, of course, awaits the season's winner: $100,000 cash and a ``Top Shot'' special edition speedboat. Among the competitors are a homeland security agent, a firearms instructor for the FBI, a plumber, and a former Olympic shooter who is the only woman competing this season. Colby Donaldson, who has competed in all-star seasons of reality shows himself, returns as host.
