"True Blood" races towards its season two finale with a jam-packed penultimate episode that introduces a very intriguing vampire Queen. Which one of our favorite vamps will she make her King?
Every time "True Blood" solves a mystery, it seems to introduce two more to take its place. Having now solved the puzzle of Maryann, we get two new doozies this week involving a new ability for Sookie and a mysterious new vampire. Bring it on!
"True Blood" proves that season two just gets better and better each week, with another highly entertaining episode featuring suicide bombing, a very interesting dream sequence, self-immolation and lots of vampire politics.
Tonight's "True Blood" proved that vampire parties really are the best kind of parties, featuring catfights, attempted murder, love triangles and enough other assorted drama to keep one suitably entertained. I guess no one throws down like the undead.
After weeks of me complaining, "True Blood" finally gives up the goods on mysterious new Bon Temps resident Maryann's supernatural status. As for her end game...well, that's still a little bit up in the air.
"True Blood" has always made no apologies for playing up the more seductive side of vampirism, but this week almost the entire cast gets into the game, leaving us with one sexy hour of human, vampire, shapeshifter and even fundamentalist fun.
This week on "True Blood," Jason becomes a solider of God, Sookie meets someone just like her, Tara has a wild party and Eric wears a tank top. I'll let you all guess which of those things I was the most interested in watching.
"True Blood" continues to set up pins it maddeningly refuses to knock down, with more mysterious happenings this week and still no definitive answers as to what or why these things are happening. But hey: at least we know Lafayette is okay!
