Gas station owner Ray saves an elderly voodoo priestess trapped inside a wrecked car, but then he opens her mysterious suitcase and becomes possessed by the evil spirits it contains. Ray turns into a murderous zombie, killing anything that crosses his path and terrorizing a group of teens, including his own son, Sean . With the help and charms of the voodoo priestess, Sean and friends fight to stay alive as they are pursued through the bayou.
