Premise: Art critic and writer Robert Hughes takes a unique approach to investigating the work and lives of influential 20th-century architects Antonio Gaudi, Albert Speer and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, looking at how each used space in response to views on the power of religion (Gaudi), the power of the State (Speer) and the power of the corporation (Mies).
