Welcome to the Captain

Depressed that his career seems to have stalled, Hollywood wunderkind Josh Flug lets his best friend, Marty Tanner, talk him into moving into El Capitan, a storied Tinseltown apartment building its eccentric residents have affectionately dubbed ``The Captain.'' After meeting Uncle Saul, the former ``Three's Company'' writer who now fashions himself the resident expert on everything, and Charlene Van Ark, the aging but still sultry actress with a taste for fresh male ``talent'' in the Captain, Josh is about ready to jump ship until he meets Hope, an aspiring accupuncturist whose beauty and vulnerability has him immediately smitten.
