When Ladies Meet

Reporter Jimmie Lee suspects his long-time girlfriend, successful novelist Mary Howard, of having a romance with her married publisher, Rogers Woodruf . While Mary works on her latest novel -- about a married woman allowing her husband to desert her for his mistress -- Jimmie meets Woodruf's wife, Clare . Realizing she is unaware of her husband's affair, he convinces Clare to meet Mary while pretending to be his new girlfriend.
