World Series of Bass

Premise: Many accomplished bass fishermen have the skills to compete at their sport's highest level and the dreams to get there. All they need is an opportunity. ``World Series of Bass'' provides a chance for both pro and amateur anglers to take part in the 2013 World Series of Bass (WSOBASS) Main Event, which features a first-place cash prize of $600,000. The series, hosted by WSOBASS founder Joe Habib and pro fisherman Sondra Rankin, profiles anglers in a pro division and a semipro/amateur division as they compete in bass-fishing-based skills challenges. The winner of each division gets a free entry (worth $10,000) into a WSOBASS qualifying tournament.
