Premise: Anne Burrell is back to put her undefeated record on the line against returning challenger Bobby Flay as they mentor teams of below-average cooks and try to lead one recruit to victory as the season's most improved cook. Fourteen contestants, nominated by their friends and family, head to boot camp to face their first task -- making their best dish from processed, packaged and canned foods brought in from their homes -- after which the mentors choose their teams. The recruits then compete in weekly challenges, with the least successful contestant on each team being eliminated following each challenge. In the season finale, the final two cooks each prepare a three-course meal for a panel of renowned chefs -- Andrew Carmellini, Anita Lo and Floyd Cardoz -- who decide which recruit is the winner. With the victory comes a $25,000 grand prize for the contestant and bragging rights for the mentor.
